NORTH FERRIBY – Great British Bake Off star Nancy Birtwhistle has launched a stylish new show home in one of East Yorkshire’s most desirable communities.
Best-selling author, TV personality and Bake Off winner Nancy cut the ribbon to open the show home at Beal Homes’ Ferriby Meadows development in the picturesque village of North Ferriby.
The £40m development of 115 homes is located in a semi-rural location off Ferriby High Road, close to the heart of the village.
It features a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, as well as three and four-bedroom bungalows. Prices for properties currently on sale range from £240,000 to £540,000.
Buyers who have already reserved at Ferriby Meadows were invited to enjoy an exclusive first look around the show home before the doors were opened to the public.

The preview offered them the chance to meet Nancy and take home a signed copy of her latest book, courtesy of Beal.
The event also included the opening of the on-site sales office, giving house hunters the opportunity to talk to Beal’s friendly sales team about the range of homes available at Ferriby Meadows.
“I’ve never had a new-build home myself and this is just beautiful,”
In all, more than 150 prospective buyers visited the four-bedroom Rockingham show home at the in-demand development during the opening weekend.
Nancy, who has proudly flown the flag for her home region since winning Great British Bake Off in 2014, praised the stunning show home.

“I’ve never had a new-build home myself and this is just beautiful,” she said.
“The kitchen is spacious, airy and light, and is so well designed. It’s got everything I would want in a kitchen and it’s the perfect family space.
“I was particularly impressed by the size of the bedrooms – they’re all so spacious. I especially loved the room which had been designed as a craft and sewing room. I could picture myself spending hours in there!”
The Rockingham showcases the high-quality specifications and vast range of personalisation options available to Beal buyers, to enable them to make their new home truly one of a kind.

Harriet Walker, Field Sales Manager of East Yorkshire-based Beal, said: “We were delighted to welcome Nancy to open the show home and our buyers loved meeting her.
“Ferriby Meadows is a particularly popular development, so we were expecting the opening weekend to be busy, but the turnout was even greater than we expected.
“We’ve had so much interest from potential buyers, with many saying they were impressed with the show home, especially the spacious kitchen and stylish décor.”
