Beverley’s Pastures Day Services Dazzle with Fairytale Panto

BEVERLEY — Magic, music and laughter took centre stage this week at Pastures Day Services as service users delivered a vibrant fairytale-themed pantomime, delighting an audience of friends, family and support staff.

The production, which featured classic storytelling with a creative twist, was the result of weeks of rehearsals, costume-making and set design. From enchanted forests to wise-cracking sidekicks, every element of the show was infused with imagination and teamwork.

Performers embraced their roles with confidence and humour, showing just how powerful the arts can be in building self-esteem and bringing people together. Many of those involved said it was the highlight of their year.

Staff at Pastures praised everyone’s commitment and creativity, saying the event was a proud reflection of what inclusive, person-centred support looks like in action.

The audience was full of smiles, laughter and a few happy tears — a testament to the sense of community and joy that the performance created.

The final bow may have brought the curtain down, but the energy and pride in that room will carry on for a long time to come.
