Rowley Manor to host spine-chilling overnight ghost hunt

Rowley Manor will host a ghost hunt on Saturday, 10 May 2025, extending through to 2 AM for those willing to explore its haunted history. The evening will begin at 9 PM at the Rowley Manor Hotel in Little Weighton, where guests will gather to prepare for a night of paranormal investigation.

As midnight approaches, a buffet will be served, providing a welcome break before the ghost hunt continues into the early hours. The pub will remain open until 2 AM, allowing attendees to discuss their experiences over a drink before the night draws to a close.

Participants will be guided by an experienced paranormal team as they explore some of the manor’s most haunted areas, using a range of ghost-hunting equipment. EMF detectors, motion sensors, spirit boxes, thermal imaging cameras, dowsing rods and laser pen grids will be among the tools available, offering different ways to detect or communicate with any spirits that may be present. Whether a seasoned investigator or simply curious, the event is designed to be an immersive and thrilling experience.

Rowley Manor, originally an 18th-century rectory, has a long history of eerie occurrences and unexplained phenomena. Visitors have reported shadows moving in empty rooms, sudden temperature drops, and mysterious sounds echoing through the halls. Those attending will have the chance to see first-hand whether these ghostly tales hold any truth.

Tickets for the event are £35 per person, which includes the ghost-hunting experience and buffet. A free prize draw will also take place, giving one lucky person the chance to win two free tickets.

For those intrigued by the paranormal, this is a rare opportunity to investigate one of East Yorkshire’s most atmospheric locations after dark. Whether you leave convinced or questioning, it promises to be a night to remember.
