Easter Activities in Beverley & East Riding – Book here.

Get ready for a fun-filled Easter with East Riding Libraries! ERYC are offering a variety of activities to inspire learning and creativity in children of all ages. The councils STREAM events are designed to encourage children and their families to explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in a playful way.

Caroline Wilkinson from East Riding Council told Beverley Review, “our librarians, can’t wait to see all the young learners at our activities. With so many Easter events to choose from, there’s something for everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to learn through fun and develop new skills.

“One of our most exciting activities is the Chromatography Butterflies, where we’ll use marker pens to discover the different coloured pigments in ink. Then, we’ll use test papers to make beautiful butterflies to take home. This session is best suited for ages 5 and above, with adult supervision required for children aged 8 and under”.

For little engineers and story lovers, East Riding Council is offering Duplo Storytime Stay & Play sessions were children will gather around to listen to a magical story and use matching Duplo sets to build it. This activity is best suited for ages 3 to 7, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Finally, for artists and creatives, Lego Art sessions are back! Come along and make some Lego mosaic art using our Easter themed templates or design a picture of your own. This activity is suitable for ages 4 and up, and children aged 8 and under must be supervised by an adult.

Caroline added that “we can’t wait to see families at our Easter activities! Some sessions require booking, so be sure to check our schedule to find an event near you.”
