Filey Food Festival returns with more than 70 stalls this Easter weekend

FILEY – Filey Food Festival is back this Easter weekend, bringing more than 70 stalls to The Crescent for two days of street food, sweet treats, local produce and drinks.

Running on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 April from 10am to 5pm, the festival promises plenty to browse and plenty to eat, with traders offering everything from gourmet pies and artisan chocolates to homemade cakes, local spirits and ales.

That range is part of the appeal. This is not a specialist market or a one-note event. It is the kind of food festival where families can wander, pick up something for lunch, take home a few treats and still find something they had not expected to see.

There is also a wider Easter weekend feel to it, with family entertainment and other attractions in Filey helping turn it into more than a quick stop for a bite to eat.

For Beverley visitors, it is close enough to make a straightforward day out, whether by car or rail, but the main draw is the food itself and the chance to spend a spring weekend by the coast with plenty going on.
