HULL – Hull City supporters who cannot attend a home match will now be able to make their seat available to another fan through the club’s new Ticket Exchange.
The system has been introduced as demand for tickets reaches an all-time high following City’s return to the Premier League. It should help fill seats which would otherwise remain empty, while giving more supporters an opportunity to watch the Tigers at the MKM Stadium.
Membership holders can list their ticket through their online ticketing account when they are unable to attend. If the ticket is successfully resold, the member will receive cashback in accordance with the club’s Ticket Exchange terms.
Returned tickets will be sold at reduced prices. Adult tickets cost £15 in Zone One, £20 in Zone Two and £25 in Zone Three. Concession prices are £10, £12 and £14 respectively, while tickets for children aged between two and 15 cost £4 in all three zones.
The exchange opened at 9.30am on Wednesday, 5 August. Tickets made available through the system can be purchased by supporters who meet the sales criteria for the relevant fixture.
The scheme provides a safe, official alternative to buying tickets through resale websites or strangers on social media. Availability will depend on membership holders returning their seats, so supporters looking for tickets may need to check the club’s website regularly.
